We serve a great meal regardless of the occasion.

Røros has become well known our focus on locally produced food and drink.

This includes everything from reindeer, organic dairy products and beer. We place great emphasis on this when we put together the menu so that you will recognise the taste of Røros when you arrive here.

We can offer you Tydal’s char, local reindeer and deer for dinner. In addition, we use both mushrooms, berries and moss from our own garden. In the main restaurant, we grave and smoke most products on our own.

    Nilsenhjørnet Bar & Meeting Place – The hotel’s lobby bar. A classic and elegant bar in English style with heavy furniture and wooden standing tables, leather, and brass. Here you’ll find a wide selection of cognacs and whiskies to be enjoyed in a pleasant atmosphere.

    The library is located between Gruva and the reception area, where you can retreat and read a good book in front of the fireplace or simply sit and relax for a while. The library is also perfect for enjoying a nice aperitif before dinner in the evening.

    The lobby area’s own dining lounge, where you can sit and enjoy a fine glass of wine with some accompaniments. Malm Wine Bar offers a rich selection of excellent wines.

    The hotel’s new cocktail bar, Gruva, is a versatile bar where you can either host a private event or drop by on Fridays and Saturdays. Here, you can arrange everything from wedding parties, birthdays, music events, to simply having a place to go out and enjoy great drinks. Gruva offers an extensive drink menu and excellent service.

    Here you will be served everything from a delicious fresh breakfast to fantastic 5-course dinners, all made with local ingredients. The name of the restaurant originates from when the main part of the hotel was completed; 1897.
