Friday - landing and orientation

Check in is quick, but the first beer at Hiort Pub takes as long as it takes. Here you'll find a big screen with football, a relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to plan your weekend while watching the game. Dinner at Peder Hiort Mathus will give you energy for the day ahead - and maybe a trip to Gruva Cocktailbar if you want to try something new.

Saturday - when the spirit of adventure awakens

The power breakfast energizes you for the day's challenges. You can choose between several activities, all of which start a short distance from the hotel:

ATV driving - 3-4 hours on mountain roads with breaks and refreshments along the way
Canoeing - follow the Glomma or Håelva rivers, where the silence is broken only by the oars against the water
Dog sledding - summer trips with carriages and Siberian Huskies
Cycling excursions - explore Rørosvidda on two wheels and set your own pace

Lunch out - either packed lunches or stops at local cafés to energize you for the afternoon's adventures.

When the adrenaline has worn off, Olavsgruva awaits with its 500 meters into the mountain - a journey back to Røros' history as a mining town. Here it's cool, quiet and raw. Or perhaps axe throwing and archery are more appealing, or beer tasting at Røros Bryggeri where you can taste local tradition in liquid form.

The evening belongs to Restaurant 1897 - a really good dinner after an active day. And when your belly is full and the stories from the day are to be shared, the pub awaits with football on the screen and beer that tastes extra good after a day in the fresh air.

Sunday - calm and reflection

The last morning starts late and calm. You've earned a rest after yesterday's adventure. A short tour of the city for final shopping and a few photos, before the final lunch meal together.
