Warm and inclusive
At Bergstadens Hotel & Spa, it's all about creating an atmosphere where you feel seen, welcomed and at home - from the very first moment. We call it our code of conduct, because that's how we want it to be, regardless of where we are in the hotel and what we do.
Historical authenticity
We take pride in managing a place with deep roots. The stories of Bergstadens and Røros are alive in both walls and floors, and we share them with you so that you too can become part of the story.
Casual luxury
Luxury with us is not something that requires or must be practiced, or that creates distance. It's quality in the details, combined with a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. That's luxury that feels natural and real.
Memorable and timeless
We hope that your experiences here will become stories you want to tell. Time slows down and the weekend lasts longer. It's in the small moments, the genuine encounters and sensory experiences that the magic happens.

The people who create the atmosphere at Bergstadens Hotel & Spa
Those of us who work at Bergstadens Hotel & Spa have one thing in common: we're energized by seeing our guests lower their shoulders. Many of us have been here for years because we genuinely care about the place and the people who come here. You'll notice it in the way we greet you, how we (try to) remember what you like for breakfast, and in the easy conversation that occurs naturally when people work somewhere they enjoy. We're not just employees here - we're the people who create the atmosphere we like when we stay at a hotel, and who make guests want to come back.
