The Personal Data Act sets the formal framework for what personal information Bergstadens Hotel can store and how we can manage these. This also applies to our online services. In addition, legislation such as the Marketing Act and the Accounting Act also provide guidelines for how information that can be linked to a person should be processed.

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, Bergstadens Hotel must provide information about how we use the personal data we receive. In accordance with Chapter II, Section 8 of the Act, which deals with the conditions for processing personal data, the information is used to:

• maintain a register of our supporters in order to fulfill our purpose

Bergstadens Hotel does not have sensitive information in its register. Bergstadens Hotel complies with the rules in force at any given time for updating reservations against the reservation register in Brønnøysund. If you have made a reservation in this register, we will not contact you, unless you have previously supported us and we consider this to be an active customer relationship.

Purpose of the processing

Personal data is used by Bergstadens Hotel to manage customer relationships, for invoicing, bookings, order management, and in other contexts where Bergstadens Hotel needs to know who we are in contact with.

Information that is processed

Bergstadens Hotel collects and stores personal data through our online services, only to the extent that you have been notified and have approved this. We use your name and e-mail address in connection with sending out our newsletters. The personal data (name, address, e-mail address, etc.) users have provided on Bergstadens Hotel's services, or associated services from subcontractors, will be stored in our or our subcontractors' databases. Website statistics
