Røros became part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1980 and is today a living museum. Here, you walk through streets lined with buildings dating back to the 17th century and a majestic church that accommodates 1600 people (the church has been renovated in recent times, and private tours and concerts can be arranged upon request).
